Overdue Update

Sorry I have been behind in updating, but these babies are keeping me on my toes. The babies had their 9 month check up last Thursday and are doing well. Ella weighed 18 pounds 9 ounces and is now in the lead, this has not happened since birth when she was 1 ounce more than Jackson. The Dr is sending us to have a physical therapy evaluation since she is still behind the boy's in most everything. She will catch up in her own time, but we are just going to give her a little push. Jackson was 18 pounds 4 ounces and is on the verge of crawling. I'm sure he will be doing it in no time. Jackson has to go to U of M for a head ultrasound because his head circumference went from the 10% to 75%. We are hoping that the U/S will show what they need to see, but he may need an MRI because his soft spot is almost closed and it shouldn't be yet. For the MRI he would need to be sedated, so we will try the U/S first. Jackson also had croup, we had taken him to the ER Saturday before Easter and he still had a bit of a wheeze but seems to be doing better. And last but not least Cooper weighed in at 16 pounds 4 ounces and is still not on the growth curve for weight or height but sure is for his head. He also has to go for a U/S of his head so we shall wait and see what they say. And my little peanut had a double ear infection!! He is on a stronger antibiotic than last time and needs to go back after he is done with it to make sure the ears look ok.

Ella has to go to U of M tomorrow to the NICU follow up clinic to be evaluated for her developmental delays and then Monday to Oakwood for physical therapy. The Boy's go next Friday for the U/S so I will keep everyone updated.

Clyde and I were once again able to get away for a night (THANKS MOM!!!) We went just for the night and enjoyed the peace and quiet:) We have been home a little more than 24 hours and I'm ready to leave again. LOL It's only a little more than a month until we go on our first (complete) family vacation.

Friday we are going to Greenfield Village with my mom to see Thomas the Tank Engine, that was her gift to Nicholas for his birthday so I hope the weather is nice and we all enjoy:)

Happy Birthday

And that it was. Yesterday was my 33rd birthday and it was nice. I didn't do anything fun because hubby had to work, but we will be doing something next week and take care of three things at once, My birthday, his birthday (4/25) and our anniversary (5/8). So every year I say all I want is for it to be sunny and 70 outside most years I do not get that but I sure did this year. It was a gorgeous day out!!! I spent most of the day with just the babies and then Nick came home from Grandma's. My mom and my aunt gave me an AWESOME gift, a gift certificate to a really nice spa in Plymouth for a facial, massage, manicure and pedicure. Can't want to use that!!! Thanks mom and Donna!!! I also got some beautiful flowers from my neighbors Steve and Shanda and their boy's. It was so nice of them. I received many cards and some money, always nice :) Later in the afternoon the kids and I went over to my friend Carly's so Nick and her son Owen could play and I got Ella out of the stroller and down on the ground to play with Chloe. Sorry boy's, mom will bring a bigger blanket next time. Carly made ice cream come cupcakes so we all had a birthday cupcake. Yesterday was her husband Steve's birthday too. Thanks for all the birthday wishes!!! Here are some pics from the last few day's of the kids. It's not letting me add pictures right now, so check back later.

Had to share

I just had to share this birthday card I got in the mail today. First off it was so funny and if you have any idea of the conversations I have had back in my working day's this card is even funnier. My birthday is Friday and I got my first card in the mail today and that makes me happy. I used to love my birthday, not so much now a day's.
Maybe I will get something special for my birthday. I can hope can't I???

Long time

ETA: A new slide show has been added at the bottom from the last few weeks. More pictures to come I promiss:)

I didn't realize that is has been over two weeks since my last post. I can't even remember what was going on two weeks ago, but for the last week + we have had a house full of sickness. It all started with Clyde and moved to Nick then me and then the baby boy's and then miss Ella. Nicholas was running a high fever and was throwing up last Sunday and Monday and then had and still has a junky cough and runny nose, the baby boy's were running fevers and had the cough and runny nose. I took them to the Dr and they both had ear infections. Saturday Jack was still running a 102/103 fever and the Dr wanted him to be seen so off to the ER we went and when we got there is oxygen level was 86% so they gave him 2 breathing treatments and a steroid injection. They said his ear looked better so he must have picked up something else in our sick house and they changed his antibiotic. Yesterday he was fever free and today seems to be a bit more like himself:) Ella was running a low grade fever and had a clear runny nose. Momma had a sore throat and then the cough and nose issues and daddy had/has pneumonia. Whew.... I'm not sure if daddy got us all sick or the first outing that we have had since October. A week ago Saturday we took all the kids to an Easter egg hunt. It was fun and nice to get out, but the sickness started the next day. Oh well, we will try and go out again sometime soon.

Nicholas missed school and his sports class last week and I felt so bad for him so I took him to the marshmallow drop in Elizabeth park on Friday and OMG!!! I will never do that again. He liked the helicopter and the cheap little coloring book they gave away so I guess it was worth it. It was cold and muddy and there were a thousand people or more, it was a mad house.

I hope everyone had a nice Easter. The Easter bunny brought Nicholas a bunch of stuff and the babies sun hats and sun glasses. Clyde took Nick to his parents for a bit and then I took him to my mom's for a bit. The little ones stayed home:( We were supposed to go to my Dad's but had to cancel. Maybe we will get together next weekend because rumor has it that the Easter bunny made a stop there also. They will have to bring the loot over here.

Early On is coming out on Wednesday to see Ella so I hope that turns out well.
