How could I forget!!!

On Thursday when my mom and Fran were here Cooper rolled over!!!! And not just one roll but he did a complete roll from back to tummy and then tummy to back. Apparently my mom and Fran need to be here more often because he rolled when they were here when Clyde and I went away last month. He hasn't rolled since then, well maybe once, but I didn't see it and I'm not convinced Nick didn't help him;) What made me remember this was when I got him this morning out of bed he was on his tummy.

We had a nice visit and Fran brought us a case of diapers. Thanks Fran, you are keeping well stocked!!! I can't wait for our trip up north this summer, we invited Fran to go with us and we are going to have a GREAT time!!! I am very excited about that trip, but I don't want to wish the next 4 months away we have a lot going on. Nick's b-day, both mine and Clyde's b-day, our anniversary and lots of odds and ends in between. Plus I have a big first birthday bash to plan for July!!!

Teeth and Taxes:-)

Well we have our first tooth. Mr Jackson the first to do everything is the first to pop a tooth. He has not been cranky or acting like a teething baby in any way but when I picked him up yesterday out of the jumperoo his jammies were soaked with drool to his waist so I took a peek and sure enough one little white spot and when I felt it it was a sharp little tooth. I can see the other bottom tooth on him so I'm sure it's not far behind. Ella and Cooper are drooling machines and chew on everything, but I don't really see anything yet. I took Nick to a birthday party over the weekend and there was a baby there a month plus younger than mine and she had 8 teeth already!!!

We have been eathing a lot around here, the only things left to try are green beans and sweet potatoes. So far bananas have been the favorite for all 3 and peas the least favorite. Jackson not fond of peas

Cooper not to sure

No more please:(

You know having triplets is a drain on the pocket book, but come tax time I wish I had octuplets;) Not really. LOL But seriously we will be getting a very nice mini van payed for 95% from our tax return. Other than the daily joy's of 4 children under 4 the tax benefit is awesome!!!

Let's see what else has been going on. It was really nice on Sunday 40 degrees I think (it's sad that 40 is NICE weather) So Nick suited up and went out to play in the snow.

And this is what happens if a preschooler gets your camera

Oh and the most exciting news since my last post is about our summer vacation. My Mom and Aunt are renting a house on Big Platte Lake in northern Michigan this summer and we are all going to have a blast!!! I can't wait. My Mom and dear family friend Fran are coming over tomorrow so I had better get to picking up my house:)

A Meeting of The Mom's

Last night I got to go to a meeting of the higher order multiples group that I belong to and it was so nice. I got to see my friend Nichelle again and see had some goodies for me, a case of formula and a diaper bag. Thanks Nichelle!!! I met a bunch of really great ladies and even some who's blogs I had been following, Kristen, Greta, Krista and Jennifer. I really like this group, one because everyone has at least triplets and two there seemed to be a group with trips under a year, then a few with toddlers and a few with school age kids, so there will always be someone to turn to when I have a question or problem. I hope to be able to be active in the group as much as possible. It was nice to meet everyone and put a face with a name and hopefully once RSV season is over we can get together for one BIG play date:)

Naps

Well I have been attempting putting the trio down for the afternoon nap in the their bedroom. Jackson is the star, he fusses for a bit and then is down for the count 2+ hours. Ella is getting better, at first she just screamed until I would come to get her but she is catching on, today she slept for about an hour and then after I got her and changed her and she snoozed for another hour or so. And then we have little Cooper, he hates going down for a nap and screams like someone is really hurting him. I try and give him a bit to get used to the new routine but he is not having it. I bring him down stairs and he is out for the count 2+ hours. He better get the hang of this soon, I enjoyed a bit of me time:) Now bedtime is a different story, all three go down at about 7:30pm and 99% of the time I don't hear a peep until at least 7:00am. Well I had better take advantage of the quiet and go lay down, it's 10pm and I am fried~~~

6 month check up

All is well and I some some fat babies!!! Ella 14lb 11oz and 24 & 1/4 inches long, she is in the 25th% for a 6 month old:) Jackson is 15lb 13oz and 25 & 1/4 inches long, he is also in the 25th% for a 6 month old:) And Cooper is 13lb 2oz and is 23 & 3/4 inches long. Cooper is not on the growth chat yet, but is gaining weight nicely and the Dr is very happy with all three. The best news is that Ella and Jackson are on regular formula now, I'm hoping we will be able to save a little $$$ now that they are off the $16 a can stuff. We were going through about a can and a half a day and now with just cooper on it, it should last 4 day's or so and I can get an economy size can of the regular similac at Sam's Club for $27 and it should last about 4 day's. Everyone had shot's today and did ok but once we got home all had fevers and were cranky. My mom picked Nick up from school and spent the day with us and that was a huge help. Plus she stayed and watched all the kids so I could get out with my friend Carly and we went and stocked our freezers at dream dinners. Thanks Mom!!!:) So all is well with the kids and we don't have to go back until 9 months.

Jumperoo, ER & Photo Shoot

You know when you were a teenager/young adult and you had to run out and get the newest cd or concert tickets? Well I have transferred this into getting the newest and coolest baby gaget. I have been wanting to get a jumperoo for a while and I looked online for all the options and saw the cutest one, but is was only on preorder from BRU to be shipped/on sale 1/16/09. So I wait and ponder my options some more. Well on Saturday I had to go get some formula so I thought I would look at the jumperoos and make my decision. Well I went to BRU and they didn't even have the one I wanted to see, or so I thought. I asked at the check out and they said they had them, just not out yet. So I snatched one up! The precious planet jumperoo, it's very cute and Ella and Jackson love it. I know that they would love any of them, but I NEEDED to have the newest and cutest!!! Here are pictures of Jackson and Ella. Cooper is still to tiny to jump away, Ella's feet don't touch the ground, but she can wiggle enough to set off the music and lights and Jackson's toes touch and he can going pretty good:)

On Friday night Nicholas climbed up on my lap while I was feeding one of the babies and said he was cold and freezing. He was burning up, I took his temp and it was 103.2, gave him some tylenol and to sleep he went. Saturday he was mellow and had a low grade fever but ok for the most part. Then night falls and the fever spikes, it was 104.4. I called the Dr and they wanted him to be seen in the ER for the high fever and because he had a cough and has asthma, they wanted to just make sure he was ok. So I called Clyde and he had to come home from work early, it took him over an hour because of the snow. My in-law's came over to stay with the sleeping babies and out we went. We got lucky and didn't have to wait long, he has a upper respiratory infection and an ear infection, YUCK! So they gave him a dose of amoxicillin and kept us there for 20 min since he had never had it before and for good reason. About 15 min later he broke out in hives, my poor boy just one more thing to add to the list of his allergies. So we waited for the Dr and he changes the antibiotic to something else and on our way we went. He's been better today, but still not my Nick.

We had the babies 6 month pictures taken today and I'm so excited to see them. From the few that they showed me they are going to be super cute!! The babies have their 6 month check up on Thursday so I will be interested to see how long they are and how much they weigh.
