Happy December

Well Happy December to all!! I have every good intention on blogging more often but when I think of it I am just to tired or busy to get it done. So When I do make a new post I will try to make it a good one :)
Cooper had minor surgery to have tubes put in his ears on Nov 30th and everything went well and hopefully we will be good to go now. I took him back to the OR at 10:00 and we were in the van on the way home at 10:45!! It was quick and they had said by the afternoon we would not even know he had anything done. And as they said he was 100%. He did enjoy being an only child for part of the day. The other 3 kids stayed over night at my mom's and when I brought them home Cooper was not happy to have to share toy's or mom and dad. But I'm sure he missed his brother's and sister, or at least I hope so :)
Yesterday we took everyone to see SANTA!!! It was good, no tears but no smiles. Much better than I thought things would go. lol After that we went to the little play area and let them run around and play a bit and they really enjoyed that. There were only a few kids there which was good because I was so worried that they were going to pick up some germs and get sick. If I could have followed them around with some clorox wipes I would have ;)

Here are some pics from the other night of bath time fun and a group shot.

I'm Back!!!

Thanks to my sister in law's boyfriend Matt we now have a working computer again!!! I know you don't read this but thanks Matt!!! I seem to have bad luck with computers. When I was pregnant with the triplets our desktop got a virus and crashed but we never got it fixed because Clyde got me a lap top for all those day's spent in bed and on the couch baking the babies well of course at the most inopportune time the laptop dies and no Internet connection for me:( But all is well and I now have a connection to the world:)

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!! The kids and I went to my mom's and had the best time. I didn't take any pictures, but I will get some up ASAP! Cooper is having surgery on Monday to have tubes put in his ears, so look for some pics sometime next week.

Halloween and other stuff

So I have a lot of pictures on this much needed update. The babies are now almost 16 months old and doing GREAT!!! Cooper is the only one with a few issues. He is not gaining weight like the Dr would like so they did a bunch of blood work and it all came back normal, so we will wait till his next visit in January and See how much he gains and go from there. Cooper also is going to be getting tubes in his ears. He has had a bunch of ear infections in the last several months and we went to a ENT and his ears are still fluid filled and he was worried he is not hearing like he should and it might affect his speech if it is not taken care of.
So here is a slew of pictures from the last few months.

Just checking in

Hello, I know the posts are few and far between, but as many of you know life with 15 month old triplets plus a 4 year old can be a little hectic. We have just been going on with life, Nick has school three day's a week and the rest gets busy with this, that and the other.

Last weekend we went to the Logan triplet's first birthday party, it was a lot of fun!!! My mom went with me so I was not alone with all 4. It was at a farm and was super cool, we will be return visitors for sure!!

The weekend before that we my mom and I took the kids to greenfield village for the farmers market and ended up spending most of the day there. When we got in the car it was 4:00 we had spent 5 hours there and everyone was super good. We drew a lot of attention and when we were in the farmers market Nicholas told a lady that we had 5 babies not 3!!! He thinks that him and his cat are the 2 extra. LOL I was quick to correct him as she looked around for the other 2.

Other than that all is well. Just getting ready for Halloween and then the holiday's. Clyde started afternoons today and all three little one's have snotty nose's. I will try and add some pictures soon.

I have not fallen off the face of the earth

I promise I did not fall off the face of the earth. We have just been busy settling in and living life. Nicholas started school last Wednesday and he LOVES it. The teachers were laughing at us today when I dropped him off. He was so excited to get into class that when I asked him for a kiss he kissed the air instead of me and RAN into class. LOL Nicholas on his first day.

As for the little ones, all is well. We officially have a walker!!! JACKSON takes first prize as in everything else so far. LOL It is so weird to see him walking. Ella and Cooper are not far behind. Cooper had been taking 3-4 steps so I give it another week or so. Miss Ella is just cautious, I think she can secretly walk she just doesn't want to. The kids LOVE the bounce and spin zebra and fight over who gets to ride. Now that Jack can get on by himself he wins if we are not right there.

Don't let the face fool you, he LOVES it!!!

He will draw blood to get a ride.

Little miss happy.
I will try really hard to update more often. It's amazing how busy life gets. We will have a lot of outings between now and the end of the year so lot's to blog about.

Catch up

So the last few weeks have been a whirl wind of stress around here but things are finally calming down and we are settling into our new place. Let's see, I think Jackson will be the first to walk since every day this week he has taken 3 or 4 steps all by himself!!! I think he can do it, he just gets so excited and lunges forward before he has his balance. Ella and Cooper are doing good also but nothing new to report.

We are on the search for a new preschool for Nicholas, so if you are in the Plymouth area and have a recommendation please let me know. We are going to look at one on Tuesday, but I think they are out of our price range. Unless I want to help out every day in school, but that is neither a break for Nick or me and with three little ones at home it's nearly impossible.

I am still looking for my camera cord to upload pictures, check back this week.

MIA

Sorry it has been so long since the last post but we have had a lot going on with us. We have moved to Plymouth and we are working on getting settled. I hate moving period, but it is so much worse with 4 kids!! My mom kept the babies from Friday till mid day on Monday and Clyde's parent's kept Nicholas so we could get finished packing and move. Thanks for all the help without that it would have taken us a year. The highlight of the new place so far is that Nicholas slept in his own bed THE WHOLE NIGHT!!!!! He loves his new room and played up there most of the day yesterday. I will try to post some pics of the kids on the next week or so, everyone is getting so big.

Where is summer?!?!?!?!

Don't get me wrong, I really LOVE the cooler weather, but for the kids we need warm pool weather. The babies have been sleeping in onesies this summer, but the last few mornings they wake up cool. I'm loving the cool weather but can wait a few more months for fall. Summer please come back.

Just swinging

We went to the park on Monday with my friend Carly and her kids. They had a fountain and Nicholas had a blast in that, the baby boy's not so much. But Ella loved splashing in the water. After we went over to the playscape and the babies went for their first real swing.

1 year stats

Yesterday they had their 1 year well baby visit and all is good.
Ella
19lb 9oz (28%)
28 inches (25%)
Jackson
19lb 5oz (7%)
28 1/2 inches (18%)
Cooper
17lb 4oz
27 1/2 inches
He is not on the growth chart yet. We have to take him back in a month and a half to have his weight checked. He is going to stay on formula but she changed him to the next step formula, just till we get his weight checked. Then she said he will go to whole milk with carnaton instant breakfast added. But we will wait and see.
We made the switch to milk for the other two yesterday and the first bottle was not so good but the night bottle was better and this morning I think they were already used to it.

Choo Choo Wagon!!!

I have wanted this wagon since I found out I was having triplets. My mom was going to get it for them for their birthday but it was discontinued earlier this year and people are asking outrageous prices for used ones. You could get it for $150.00 plus shipping new and someone on ebay is asking over $800.00 for one, USED. That is highway robbery!!! Well every so often I check craigslist for one and last week there was one and close to home. We emailed back and forth until we agreed on a price and I told her I could pick it up Sunday, I had wanted to make sure we got enough money to cover the new car sets. Well we had VERY generous birthday gifts and we got the CHOO CHOO WAGON!!!

The babies loved the wagon ride. It was worth the money and the wait. I just had to order seat belts for it because my children can not be trusted to stay seated.

I had one umbrella already for another wagon Nick had gotten so I went out and got 2 more so each baby has some shade. I took that idea from a few others I have seen on other blogs.

Birthday Party

Sorry it has taken me so long to update, but having a party and taking care of 4 kids takes a lot out of you. LOL So when I got up Saturday morning rain was on it's way and boy did it rain, we even got some hail. I had hung a rosary outside because that's what my mom has always done for parties and it has worked in the past. Well it was forcasted to rain until noon but it had stopped here by 10am so I had plenty of time to get the last minute stuff dome right? Not so much. I am always running behind and this was much worse than in the past. But it all came together and was a GREAT party thanks to all the help I got from my mom. Thanks mom!!! I had a major melt down when my mom had gotten here because the top of the cake fell off in the car on the way over. But it's just a cake and it was a beautiful cake anyways. Then I noticed only when looking at pictures the next day that they spelled Cooper's name wrong, they put Copper. Oh well. Almost everyone we invited came, even all of my triplet mom friends!!! We had 15 babies between 9 months and 15 months here (16 plus Chloe). Lot's of fun. It meant so much to me that they all came. We had rented a bounce house for Nick since he has been a great big brother over the last year and he loved it. Everyone was VERY generous, the babies made out good. They got 2 new car seats (thanks G.G., Grandma & Cho Cha), a bunch of cool toy's, lot's of fall/winter clothes, a ton of cash and gift cards. So much so that we have enough to get the third car seat, the bike seats to convert the stroller, a fall/winter wardrobe and had enough to get the infamous CHOO CHOO WAGON (look for a post on that later) Thank you to everyone who shared in our special day and has been there for us through out this last hectic year. We love you all.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELLA, JACKSON & COOPER!!!
My babies made their way into the world 1 year ago today and
I have officially survived the first year with triplets. To be honest I don't know what is harder the three babies or Nicholas. LOL It's amazing to me how far we have come in a year. I now have three mobile babies, Ella is crawling all over the place, Jackson is starting to stand for just a few seconds without holding on to anything, I know he will be walking soon and I am not ready for that. Cooper is my mini tornado, he has been the smallest from the start but you would never guess it by how he acts. He thinks he is in the UFC, he gives black eyes and roughs the others up. LOL
Nicholas has been the BEST big brother to the babies. He loves them more than I could have ever imagined. He watched over them and protects them like he was the Dad. I know things won't stay so sweet and loving for ever, but I will always remember these day's. I was so worried about how he would act with the babies and I could not have asked for anything better.
Check back later for pictures and next week for pictures from the big 1st birthday party!!!

Birthday Party Fun

Yesterday we had the privilege of being at Sydney, Ethan & Reaghan's
1st birthday party. It was a lot of fun, I think my babies enjoyed being
outside and being with other kids. Nicholas took right off and kept himself
busy playing with the other kids and eating cotton candy and popcorn.

We will do it all again next weekend for our party and I will try and get a picture of all the triplets, I think we are going to have 5 sets including us if everyone makes it.
